Five Valleys Urology had yet to be formed when Dr. David Guth, one of our founding partners, struck out on his own in 1977 to form a solo practice in the newly constructed Garden City Medical Arts Building. Throughout the years, Dr. Guth shared space with other urologists but it was when Dr. Byron Olson decided to retire that the possibility of forming a group became more realistic. Dr. Karl Westenfelder took over Dr. Olson’s practice in 1998 and saw the need for an additional urologist in Missoula. Together, Drs. Guth & Westenfelder brought Dr. Garrick Simmons to the community in 2001 and formed Five Valleys Urology in 2002. Dr. Kevin Kronner joined the group upon Dr. Guth’s retirement in 2006. The group has flourished ever since, with Dr. Christopher Wicher joining in 2011, Rick Wiesemann, PA-C joining in 2011, and Whitney Martin, PA-C joining in 2012.
