What is the IIEF Criteria

IIEF stands for International Index of Erectile Function. There are 15 questions on a questionnaire that a patient can answer. The patient can grade the answers on a scale of 1 to 5. The answers to these questions give the physician a quantifiable estimate of the severity of the patient's dysfunction. This can be used for follow up examination to test the effectiveness of different forms of treatments.

The IIEF questionnaire is frequently used for research on new treatments for erectile dysfunction. Please look under forms for a copy of the Sexual Health Inventory for Men. Fill it out and give it to our doctors.
