Melanie Scott

Director of Operations

Melanie Scott joined Five Valleys Urology in 2003 as a Certified Coder in the Business Office. Over her years with our practice Melanie grew into the position of Business Office Manager. After a brief move to Billings, Montana, Melanie returned to the practice as Director of Operations. Melanie holds certifications in practice management as a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) & Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM), and medical coding (CPC); she has worked in healthcare administration and management for over 3 decades.

Melanie has previously served as President of the Missoula Chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders. Melanie was born, raised and graduated College in Germany. She enjoys reading, knitting, and hiking the Bitterroots with her husband and their dog.
