Our Leadership

We Have A Proud History

In 1977, long before Five Valleys Urology was formed, Dr. David Guth struck out on his own to practice Urology in the newly constructed Garden City Medical Arts Building. Throughout the years, Dr. Guth shared space with other urologists. In 1998, when Dr. Karl Westenfelder moved to Missoula, they agreed to work together and recruit an additional physician to join them in a new partnership. Together, they recruited Dr. Garrick Simmons to the community and Five Valleys Urology was formed in 2002. Dr. Kevin Kronner joined the group upon Dr. Guth’s retirement in 2006. The group has flourished ever since, with Dr. Christopher Wicher and Rick Wiesemann, PA-C joining in 2011, Whitney Martin, PA-C joining in 2012, and Dr. Jeffrey Redshaw joining in 2019.

Today, our 5 urologists and two physician assistants provide patient-driven care at area hospitals and surgery centers as well as our comfortable and friendly office setting. Our practice is located equidistant between the campuses of each Missoula hospital. Our physicians have surgical privileges at 5 area hospitals as well as Big Sky Surgery Center. With excellent training, state of the art equipment, and additional certifications, our board-certified physicians and staff are here to care for you, personally.
